Reports indicate that she has filed a domestic violence case in a local court, alleging emotional, physical, sexual and verbal abuse by her Austrian husband Peter Haag. Shortly after the reports surfaced, Selena shared a long, emotional message on social media confirming her legal battle. Using hashtags such as #divorce and #courage, she announced that she was ready to fight for her dignity and rights.

Selena opened her memoir with brutal honesty about standing alone during the toughest storm of her life. “In the middle of the strongest and most turbulent storm of my life, I never imagined that I would find myself fighting alone, without any parents, without any support system,” she wrote.
I never thought that a day would come without all the pillars on which the roof of my world once stood, my father, my brother, my children, and those who promised to stand by me, love me, take care of me, and bear every problem with me.
Selena says people she trusted have moved away
Despite the heartbreak, Selena wrote about rediscovering her inner courage during her darkest moments. She shared, “Life has stripped away everything. People I trusted walked away. Promises I believed in were silently shattered.”
But the storm did not drown me. He handed me over. He tossed me from the violent waters onto the warm sand. “It forced me to meet the woman inside me that refuses to die.”

Selena then spoke about the values she was raised with. She continued: “Because I am the daughter of a soldier, I was raised on courage, discipline, determination, resilience, fire, and faith. I have learned to stand up when the world wants me to fall. To fight when my heart breaks. I am the daughter of a soldier.”
To show no mercy when I am wronged. Survive even when it seems impossible. My priority remains to fight for my soldier brother, to fight for the love of my children, and to fight for my dignity.

Celina Jaitley has accused her husband Peter Haag of “severe emotional, physical, sexual, and verbal abuse,” alleging that it forced her to flee Austria and return to India. As reported by PTI, her petition, filed through Karanjwala & Co., cites domestic violence, cruelty, and manipulation under the Domestic Violence Act. She claimed that Haag restricted her independence, describing him as a “narcissistic and self-absorbed person” who suffered from a short temper, alcohol problems, and detailed incidents of abuse.
She is demanding compensation of Rs 50 crore, monthly maintenance of Rs 10 lakh, and access to their three children.
