The mother of late actress Kim Sae Ron has issued a new public statement, criticizing actor Kim Soo Hyun’s lawyer and speaking out about ongoing harassment from the actor’s fans. In a statement issued on November 27, through her legal representative, Kim Sae Ron’s mother said she had received nothing but “ridicule, ridicule and insults” after issuing her initial statement on November 26.

In the statement shared by AllKPop, the grieving mother criticized lawyer Go Sang Rok, who represents Kim Soo Hyun. According to her, the lawyer used his social media platforms to criticize the late actress, claiming that he described her as “a crazy person suffering from bipolar disorder,” “a mentally ill person obsessed with men,” and “a minor obsessed with men.” She added that Go Sang Rok also mocked the family with statements such as: “You are doing a great job of protecting the honor of the deceased,” and “People who threw the honor of the deceased to dogs.”
Kim Sae Ron’s mother confirmed that official complaints had been submitted to the Korean Bar Association and the Seoul District Lawyers Association, demanding disciplinary measures be taken against him.
Stock update on police investigations
Speaking about the ongoing backlash from Kim Soo Hyun’s fans, she stated that despite her previous clarification, some supporters continue to leave offensive comments and criticize the family, telling them to “go for questioning by the police” or “hand over the phone.”
She also said that the family had already completed all required police interrogations in July, and had even provided Kim Sae Ron’s phone and other electronic devices to the police for their investigation. She further claimed that, to her knowledge, Kim Soo-hyun “has not yet attended the interrogation” in connection with the lawsuit filed by the family in May over alleged violations of South Korea’s child welfare law.
He asks fans to stop spreading rumours
