The fight happened during one of Juhi’s songs. “One day, I was upset and walked off the set because there was a song by Juhi Chawla in Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, and Farah said, ‘This gray kurta is not moving,’ and I said, ‘You are always getting stuck,’” Malhotra recalls. Malhotra was referring to the song ‘Banke Tera Jogi.’ Farrah’s candid comment about the outfit prompted his exit, leaving the group in shock. It was rare for Manish Malhotra to reach such a breaking point, but this time he had enough.

Adding her side of the story, Khan looked directly into the camera and said, “I remember you getting really mad at me.” She then revealed, “He didn’t answer my phone for two days.”

This was not the only time the horns locked. Malhotra recalled another tense moment during the shooting of ‘Fevicol Se’ from ‘Dabangg 2’, the blockbuster film with the Kareena Kapoor song. Khan remembered it clearly and said, “I remember you getting really angry with me.” Again, Manish refused to answer her calls for two days.

Malhotra then spoke about the big transformation he sees in Khan when she directs a film instead of choreographing. “As a director, she’s a different person. She’s become very nice,” he said.
